Pediatric Neurosurgery Brain and spinal cord tumors, including differential craniopharyngioma treatment under the guidance of the Honorary President, MD, Ph.D., Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.N. Konovalov (the world's largest series of over 4,000 observations); malformations; various types of hydrocephalus; craniofacial deformities; epilepsy.	Vascular Neurosurgery Founded by Academician F.A. Serbinenko, who developed endovascular neurosurgery. Treatment of: arterial aneurysms (microsurgical and endovascular — world's largest series of ~2,000 endovascular AVM and dural fistulas occlusions); arteriovenous malformations; cavernous malformations; hemorrhagic stroke; stenosis and vascular occlusion (reconstructive surgery of brachiocephalic vessels).	Neurooncology Skull base tumors (acoustic neuromas, meningiomas); tumors invading orbit, cavernous sinus, cranial fossae; intracerebral hemispheric tumors; ventricular and pineal area tumors (minimally invasive key-hole and burr-hole surgery); brainstem tumors; gliomas; lymphomas; chordomas; pituitary adenomas (over 5,000 endoscopic transnasal removals); craniopharyngiomas; cerebellar tumors; metastatic tumors.
Functional Neurosurgery Treatment of extrapyramidal disorders (Parkinson's disease, dystonia, tremors, hyperkinesis); chronic non-oncological pain syndromes (head/facial pain, neuralgia, CRPS, phantom limb pain, tunnel syndromes, post-spinal surgery pain, postherpetic neuralgia, ischemic pain, angina pectoris); oncological pain; spastic syndromes; cerebral palsy; obstetric paralysis; peripheral nerve disorders; neurogenic pelvic organ disorders; psychiatric diseases (Tourette's syndrome, OCD, depression); epilepsy.
